Traveling Exhibit 

 

Location: Near I-64 and the New I-69 
Current Headquarters is Hwy 57 Buckskin Indiana
 This is an architectural sketch of what the expansion could look like  

You can help us expand by Donating one dollar (example family of 2- $2 Family of 5- $5 etc.) we call this our dollar blitz campaign. If we can get every one in our country just to donate one dollar just think want we would be able to do for our veterans. Send all donations to the National Veterans Memorial 8837 S State Rd 57 Elberfeld, IN 47613. For larger donations go to make a donation and see what you may receive for free with a larger donation. We are a non-profit organization so your donation may be tax deductible.    

Entrance 

                    The entrance casework and trim will be a combination of Walnut and Cherry lumber 

Main Complex

The Veterans names will be placed inside this building, the ceiling will be the color of the American Flag blue. Where our flag has the stars for the 50 states our veterans become the stars at the memorial. We will also be placing telescopes in key locations, like looking at the stars at night that is how you will be able to go around the room and read the veterans names. We can place 20,000 names in our existing building  

Chapel 

                     The Chapel will be the smallest building inside the complex at around 7000 sq ft





Attention: Members of the Branches of Government for the United States of America, Military Service Personnel both active and non-active, Directors of Foundations and Grant Recipients, and Citizens of the United States.

While no longer connected with any government agencies of the United States, we, the Veterans of the Military Services of The United States of America, ask that you join with us in providing the necessary funding for the expansion of the National Veterans Memorial as shown above and described in the Concept Proposal below.

National Veterans Memorial
Goals

Purpose: To depict the images and memories of those who had to bear arms and face insurmountable odds in the line of military duty.

Outcome:
Visitors to the Memorial might understand and appreciate what was involved when the veterans were called into active military service.

Goals for the Memorial:
1. Gardens, Fountains and Buildings that will be recognized as a the National Veterans Memorial.
2. The design is to be .. .
    a. A memorial honoring those who served rather than a war museum;
    b. Able to reflect and honor all our veterans regardless of when or where they served in the armed services;
    c. A peaceful place for veterans and their loved ones to visit; and,
    d. Able to give a visual feel for all the historic time periods of military service.
    e. The memorial and building design shall .. .
    f. Display all of the armed forces flags and unit banners inside and outside;
    g. Provide a non-denominational chapel for those who which to pay respect to veterans who have given the ultimate sacrifice;
    h. Provide an enclosed exhibit building (not shown) next to the memorial for items our veterans have left behind. Because of the excitement for this project, the collection has already begun to grow in size and proportion.
    i. Provide space to display items from all units and allow the veterans to gather to view, reflect and discuss their memories;
    j. Provide a Hall of Honor to contain statues of service men and women in uniform ordered by the time period for which they served; and,
Provide an exhibit around our "Commander-in-Chief."
